Auto Emergency Braking Technologies
Standard Auto Emergency Braking w/ Pedestrian, Cyclist, & Junction Turning Detection technology uses a front radar and camera to scan the road ahead for potential obstacles while available Junction Crossing Detection technology scans for vehicles in front that may be approaching from the left or right sides when turning through an intersection. Both are designed to alert the driver or, in certain circumstances, can automatically apply the brakes to help prevent a collision.
Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist
If you try to change lanes while an object is detected in your blind spot, standard Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist can, in certain circumstances, help avoid a collision by actively moving your vehicle away from the adjacent vehicle.
Parking Sensors
Standard front and rear parking sensors and available side parking sensors use integrated ultrasonic sensors to help detect obstacles in front of, behind, and to the side of your vehicle. If a hazard is detected, the system can provide an auditory warning.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist
If oncoming obstacles are detected while reversing out of a parking spot, standard Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist can issue an alert to the driver or apply the brakes to help intervene.
